Norwegian Cruise Line’s new state-of-the-art 4.000 passenger ship, Norwegian Breakaway, will sail from her year-round homeport of New York City to the Bahamas & Florida and the Caribbean during her inaugural winter season.
Norwegian Cruise Line announces winter 2013/14 deployment
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its winter deployment for the 2013/2014 season with six ships sailing to the Caribbean and Bahamas & Florida from four homeports: Miami, New Orleans, Tampa and New York. Norwegian Jewel, the first Jewel-class ship to homeport in New Orleans, will make her debut there on October 13, 2013, offering seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries.

Norwegians set SALE in Europe
Norwegian Cruise Line is launching its new “Norwegians set SALE in Europe” promotion where customers can save up to Eur 400 per stateroom on European and Atlantic crossings. The sale launches on 5 December and is valid on sailings of six nights or more from the 2012-13 brochure, including in peak holiday periods. Customers can make savings on bookings made until 29 February 2012.

This follows Norwegian Sun’s enhancements earlier this year, meaning all three ships will be refreshed for the new season before they sail alongside the recently launched Norwegian Epic.
First steel cut for Norwegian Breakaway
The first piece of steel was cut yesterday at MEYER WERFT in Papenburg, Germany for the construction of Norwegian Breakaway, the first of two new Freestyle Cruising ships for Norwegian Cruise Line (Norwegian), set for delivery in April 2013.
