Voyager Systems (Travel Division) Long-established homeworking agency goes bust

Voyager Systems (Travel Division), which operated a number of retail brands, including a homeworking division, has ceased trading.

The company, based in Stocksbridge, Sheffield, launched in 1991. It was a long-standing member of Advantage Travel Partnership and was registered under ABTA numbers 30720, J4920 and L6258.

It traded under several names, including Voyager Travel, Voyager, it’s homeworking division Voyager Travel Direct, Voyager Ski, Frutin Travel, Go Gecko, Take me Faraway, Take me Skiing, Take me to Canaries and Cheap Holiday Bargains.

Other trading names included Cancellation Hotline, Algarve Cancellations, Canaries Cancellations, Caribbean Cancellations, Cyprus Cancellations, Florida Cancellations and Goa Cancellations.

Its homeworking division was launched in 2003.

An ABTA spokeswoman said: “Voyager Systems (Travel Division) Ltd, trading primarily as Voyager Travel, has sadly ceased trading with effect from 7 August 2020.

The company, which was an Advantage member, traded as a travel agency business, therefore the vast majority of customers will be booked on a holiday provided by a tour operator and will be able to go ahead as normal with their booking.

“Customers are advised to contact the tour operator named on their booking information for confirmation. Customers requiring further assistance should visit ABTA’s dedicated webpage.
