By joining forces with ENOIA, Drees & Sommer strengthens its presence in Southern Europe and expands its engineering and delivery capabilities across energy, industry and infrastructure

International consulting, planning and project management company Drees & Sommer continues to strengthen its presence in Southern Europe by welcoming ENOIA S.A. – the Athens-based Greek unit of Future Group and a leading Greek engineering and consulting company – to the Group.
The move significantly expands Drees & Sommer’s presence in Greece. Around 100 ENOIA employees will join Drees & Sommer Greece, increasing the company’s workforce in the country to approximately 150 professionals across Athens and Thessaloniki.
Founded in Athens in 1987 and acquired by Future Group in 2007, ENOIA S.A. is a multidisciplinary engineering and project management company with expertise in process and piping engineering, industrial facilities, energy and water infrastructure, and sustainable mining. Particularly, ENOIA S.A. has served from the outset as owner’s engineer for one of Europe’s most emblematic sustainable mining investments, while its wider experience indicatively spans through life sciences and data center facilities, to low-carbon industrial plants integrating carbon capture including cement production, recycling facilities for the textile industry and others.
Addressing the major transformations shaping industry and infrastructure
The merger combines complementary capabilities at a time when industry and infrastructure are being reshaped by decarbonization, digitalization and resource efficiency. Demand is growing across battery and semiconductor manufacturing, advanced production, water and energy infrastructure, sustainable mining and circular industry.
Together, Drees & Sommer’s international consulting, engineering and project management capabilities and ENOIA’s specialist expertise will enable the Group to support clients from concept and design through procurement and implementation.

A global engineering hub in Greece
ENOIA joined Future Group Holdings, the Dubai-headquartered international holding company, in 2007 and has been part of its industrial portfolio since. As ENOIA’s shareholder, Future Group is a party to the partnership with Drees & Sommer.

The strategic fit has already been demonstrated through joint projects since 2024, including a battery manufacturing facility in Northern Germany combining Drees & Sommer’s EPCM expertise with ENOIA’s process, piping and wastewater engineering capabilities.
