Cook’s Club opens latest hotel in the heart of Rhodes city

Thomas Cook has opened its eighth Cook’s Club hotel – an 18-room city hotel in the heart of Rhodes Old Town.

The boutique, urban hotel brings the Cook’s Club tropical design to the centre of Rhodes with a rooftop pool and bar that offer stunning views across the city and a suite with a panoramic balcony.

Cook’s Club City Beach Rhodes has a ground floor Italian restaurant for guests and local residents. The menu includes a selection of fresh pasta, pizza and paninis and there is large family-style table for guests can enjoy their meals with their friends or make new ones.

The hotel will operate year round to service customers who want to visit the island in and out of the summer season and the rooftop bar will be open to members as well as guests.

Enric Noguer, chief officer of Hotels and Resort at Thomas Cook, said: “When we launched Cook’s Club two years ago we were bringing urban design hotels to the beach. Now, with the opening of our first city beach hotel we are excited to use this as a model for expanding Cook’s Club across other popular sun and beach city destinations.”

Cook’s Club City Beach Rhodes follows new openings in Turkey, Spain, Greece, Egypt and Bulgaria. The Cook’s Club collection’s first hotel opened in Crete in 2018. Created for a new generation of travellers, Cook’s Club focuses on cool, contemporary design, great food and drink, poolside DJs, all at an affordable price.

The hotel is operated on a franchise basis and is managed by Gabriel Karathomas who also runs Cook’s Club Tigaki Kos which opened this summer. The hotel has undergone a €1.2m refurbishment.
