Direct flights to Beijing from Warsaw

According to the plan, the first flight from Warsaw will take off on 29 May 2012 (Tuesday), and the sales will start on/after Monday 20 February 2012.

Connection to Beijing will be operated by Boeing 767-300ER with capacity of 247 seats (18 in C class). Menu for Business Class passengers was prepared by Polish famous chef Robert Sowa. Business Class passengers are offered soft drinks, coffee, tea, and alcohol beverages including wide selection of international wines. During the flight passengers can relax on comfortable seats with personal entertainment options.
On LOT Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, there are 229 seats in economy class in 33 rows in 2-3-2 configuration. The economy class seats are 81cm/32in size, width and based 43cm/17inch, 14cm/30 degrees. In flight entertainment is provided via shared TV screen – overhead. Economy Class customers are offered choice of meals, soft drinks, domestic and international newspapers.

Taking into consideration the delivery of B787 “Dreamliner” in the near future (2012), flights to Beijing will be operated by the fastest and most comfortable planes in the world (total capacity 250 seats). The innovative in-flight lighting system will reduce the discomfort connected with the change of time zones during long flights. Thanks to advanced window shading system, each passenger will individually decide how much light to let in from the outside.
Thanks to modern technology at Warsaw Chopin Airport comfort of transit passengers is provided by Transfer Centers. Two of them were launched in March 2011 to resolve any problems passengers might experience during journey.
