Brussels Airlines starting 01JUN12 is stating service to New York JFK, with Daily Brussels – New York JFK service on board Airbus A330-300.
This marks the carrier’s return on Trans-Atlantic market after absence of more than 10 years, when predecessor Sabena ended its service on Nov 2001 as a result of bankruptcy (SN Airholding in 2002 took over Sabena’s subsidiary DAT, which renamed as SN Brussels Airlines, which then changed to brussels airlines as a result of the merger with Virgin Express in 2006).
