Olympic Air will increase flights between Amsterdam and Athens

Olympic AirOlympic Air will increase flights between Amsterdam and Athens from seven to nine frequencies per week during the 2011 summer period.
In order to boost sales of the short-haul connection within the Benelux countries, the Greek airline has appointed AVIAREPS, the world’s leading aviation and tourism management specialist as General Sales Agent (GSA) with a mandate to represent Olympic Air and attract new customers within the region. From the AVIAREPS branch offices in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Diegem (Belgium), General Manager Xander Scheffel and his team will coordinate all sales, marketing and ticketing activities on behalf of the airline.
Olympic Air currently offers daily flights from Amsterdam to Athens with Airbus A320 aircraft, which are equipped with 162 seats. As of mid May 2011 the Greek airline will increase service frequency and add an eighth and ninth scheduled flight on the Amsterdam-Athens route, departing Amsterdam Airport Schiphol every Friday and Sunday with double-daily flights. From Athens, passengers can conveniently continue their journey by taking one of the numerous domestic or international flights of Olympic Air. Thanks to the latest code-share agreement with Cyprus Airways the Greek airline’s route map now consists of 27 international destinations including Larnaca and Paphos, and 32 destinations within Greece.
