I called HOMED via WhatsApp so I didn’t need to use my phone’s international plan, spoke with someone who speaks Greek and English, was asked a couple questions about why I need care and I requested to utilize their at home care and was informed a doctor would come to me within 30-45 minutes. Very quick and easy! The doctor came within that time frame right up to my hotel room, she was very intelligent and knew exactly what I needed (also spoke English and Greek as they often deal with tourists). The cost was €120 without insurance which was very much worth it considering the fast level of great care and convenience. Check with your insurance back home to see if you can get reimbursed – I have Cigna and they informed me that I need to submit a summary of care and itemized bill (which HOMED supplies!) and I will be reimbursed. I was able to get a prescription, get care in just 1 1/2 hours (from phone call to finish of picking up my prescription) and not have this ruin my vacation which is amazing. I highly recommend their services especially as a tourist traveling abroad.

The entire staff was attentive and caring. We called for a doctor in the evening and within an hour the doctor came over and was professional and kind. They took us to the hospital and checked in every couple of hours, making sure we’re ok and that the staff in the hospital is taking good care of us. We highly recommend their clinic, especially if you are traveling from abroad – these are exactly the kind of people you want to take care of you in time of need.

Nobody plans to get sick on vacation, but I am so glad I had found the HOMED clinic on Google. It was easy to get a hold of them and they are open late hours. The clinic is super clean and has very caring staff. The location of their clinic is very convenient because it’s in the heart of Athens, so if you get sick while you’re visiting it is very convenient and close by.

Wow, talk about being lucky. I would typically give this clinic 10 stars, however the maximum is 5 stars! My wife and I were vacationing in Greece, from the US, enjoying the usual sites when I suffered an injury in my back and foot. I noticed a sign HOMED, private clinic. So, we decided to get medical care which would enable us to enjoy the balance of the trip. Upon our arrival, the receptionist took our name and information and went to the back. The doctor came to the front and personally greeted us and proceeded to take us to his office. We told the doctor what pain medication I was taking at home for my injury, and he explained it was not available in Greece. He looked concerned and explained he would do his best to find a similar medication. He proceeded to do research and when he was not satisfied with the results, he picked up the phone and consulted another physician. They consulted for 15 minutes and they were able to find a similar medication that they believed would help me. (by the way it helped tremendously). The doctor showed compassion, not only for the pain I was experiencing, but wanted to ensure we enjoyed the balance of the trip.
In summary, my overall experience; I can’t speak highly enough of HOMED and the Doctor. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable with the fact that I was being well taken care of. The Doctor was highly knowledgeable and took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and concerns.

I’m from the US and fell and broke my kneecap while on vacation in Greece. Our hotel (Pame House) arranged for Homed Doctor to visit the hotel and assess my injury. Doctor was fluent in English, did a thorough assessment and referred me to hospital for x-rays. I was admitted and had surgery the next morning. HOMED had a rep meet me at the hospital and was with me throughout the experience. It was comforting to have them there to help clarify some of the language barrier and I felt in great hands with them nearby. Thank you thank you thank you! HOMED made a crazy experience a lot easier to manage.

HOMED saved my trip. Without his help, I would have been unable to continue my travels on the trip of a lifetime for me and my companion.
I was scheduled to leave Athens the following day, but had developed symptoms of a dangerous and potentially life-threatening condition that required immediate treatment. On a Sunday, a doctor came into the office and began the diagnosis. The initial tests were inconclusive, so he coordinated further procedures at a local private hospital with no delays. He requested an on-call specialist to meet me there, and arranged for my transportation. It turned out that my condition was treatable with medication Without HOMED assistance, I wouldn’t have discovered that until after my travel plans had been severely disrupted. Never before in my life have I met a doctor who went to such lengths for a new patient.

We had a fairly complicated medical emergency due to a rare underlying chronic condition and the doctors here were able to see me with a comparatively minimal wait on a Sunday. They were professional and got me the needed treatment. They also rapidly renewed an existing prescription as needed. The clinic is extremely spacious, modern and clean and the staff was very courteous. Would totally recommend if you need medical attention in Athens. In my case, they were life savers!

I arrived in Athens, Greece, and on the very first night, I stepped wrong off a curb, twisted my ankle, and fell down. The swelling and bruising set in within a day, and Homed was only a 5-minute walk from my Airbnb. (Due to my injury, my brother carried me.) HOMED was wonderful; they examined my ankle and sent me to the hospital for an X-ray and proper examination. It turned out I had a fracture that required surgery. My doctor and staff throughout the ordeal were attentive, patient, and caring as I navigated this unforeseen travel detour.
I had the surgery within a day. It was very scary, but again, the staff was kind and responsive to my many questions and uncertainties. Post-surgery, my doctor and the Homed staff were there for me when I needed someone, even with some of my sillier worries and questions. They did their very best to make me feel safe and cared for in a foreign country during a very scary time.
I didn’t have travel insurance, so the cost was high for me, but at the end of the day, I was very glad to be in good, trusting hands. (And I will for sure be investing in travel insurance for all future travel). If your reason to visit is milder, the cost was very affordable, and I highly recommend them if you have a medical concern while traveling in Greece. They were fast, communicative, and I can’t recommend them enough if you are in need.

To become suddenly very ill in a foreign country , far from home and not knowing the local language , is a bit of a trauma.
You feel so lost and frightened…
From the moment HOMED doctor came to examine Avi in our hotel and afterwards during all his stay in the hospital we felt medically well taken care of and more secure.
Besides the fact of being an excellent practician he gave us the feeling that everything is under control and that we are not alone.
During our whole stay in the clinic doctors came to see us twice a day, always explained and updated us about our medical status with so much patience .
From the technical point of view everything was well organized whether regarding the hospital procedures, insurance company etc.

Picture this: you’re in a foreign country that you’ve never been to before. You literally don’t know how to speak a single word of the native language. Your phone data barely works enough to find a doctor. And you’re sick! Coughing, sore throat, runny nose and lethargy. Is it COVID? Is it the Flu? Beyond all of that, there was a transport workers strike taking place that day which basically caused the city to shut down. This would be challenging for even the most veteran travel.
This sounds like the plot to a horror movie! Well… to my horror, this was the situation I found myself in on May 1st, 2024! Like a beautiful oasis in the desert, I was thankful to find HOMED. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and did everything they could do to accommodate.
Not only that, the service was incredibly reasonably priced!
I could not have asked for better service. If you do end up being prescribed medication, there is a pharmacy on the ground floor of the build, it could not be more convenient.
Being from America, doctors visits can be detrimentally expensive and can set a person back for years. This was not the case here. I received high level care and a rate anyone can afford. On top of that, foreigners can trust that this office will put their needs first. America could take a few lessons from this company.
I think I want to come to Greece for all of my doctors appointments… Within less than 24 hours of my visit to HOMED, I was feeling so much better. I was able to enjoy my time in Greece and for that, I am grateful.

On the 2nd of May 2024, I was unfortunate enough to have an accident & was brought to the clinic, quickly x rayed, a broken hand diagnosed, surgery advised & promptly carried out. The staff were excellent, I was kept informed of everything that was happening. I felt very safe & comfortable during the whole experience & was released & able to return to my hotel within a few hours. I would highly recommend this clinic & am very thankful to all the doctors & nurses who treated and looked after me.

I had a bad fall in Santorini and had to use crutches. After coming to Athens, I contacted Homed.
The person who answered the phone in English was very kind, and a doctor came to pick me up at the hotel the same day.
After a brief examination, I was able to go straight to the hospital for an imaging test, and they filled out the necessary documents for travel insurance claims, including a medical certificate.
I had to return earlier than my original schedule due to an ankle injury, but I was able to get on the plane safely because I even filled out the fit to fly form.
No one should get hurt, but if you ever need to receive medical treatment in Greece, we recommend contacting HOMED.

He arranged everything for me to be transported to hospital, and called to inform the hospital of the care I needed upon arrival. He personally came to see me at the hospital and checked in on me.
