TUI UK Travel Allert
Updated THURSDAY 8TH JULY | 13:30
We’re aware of today’s Government announcement that from Monday 19th July at 4am, self-isolation will no longer be required by those who are double vaccinated when returning from Amber destinations.
This update is for England only and we await information for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
We are in the process of updating our web with information on what this means for TUI customers.
We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding at this time.
WHICH COUNTRIES ARE ON THE AMBER LIST?
The majority of Europe has made the amber list. Green countries are those with low case rates, few emerging variants, high vaccine rates and access to genomic testing – the list includes Iceland, Israel and Gibraltar. Although European countries are hoping to speed up their vaccine rollouts, many have still only given a fraction of the population their first dose. For that reason, they haven’t made it to the green list yet – leaving more than 100 countries on the amber list, including popular destinations such as mainland Spain, Greece, France and – since Tuesday 8 June – Portugal. See the full amber list on the UK government website.
