Royal Caribbean’s Lori Cassidy, Associate Vice President of Global Corporate Meetings, Incentives & Charters (CMIC) will chart a new course at the end of this month to devote time to her family and her next adventure as an entrepreneur. Taking the reins upon Cassidy’s departure will be Freddy Muller, who joins the company as Associate Vice President, Global CMI & Charter Sales.
Cassidy’s leadership within the sales organization over the last 13 years is credited with growing the CMIC business exponentially, along with the development of Royal Caribbean’s highly successful Royal Incentive Rewards, an individual incentive cruise certificate program.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lori for many years and I was thrilled when she agreed to join the Royal Caribbean team in 2008. I’ve always referred to Lori as my thoroughbred – she has always been best in her class. She is considered an industry icon in the Corporate Meetings, Incentives & Charters market,” said Vicki Freed, Senior Vice President, Sales and Trade Support and Service, Royal Caribbean International.
Freddy Muller joins Royal Caribbean with 28 years of experience as a Charter and Incentives Sales professional. Recently, he served as Vice President of Charter & Incentive Sales with Silversea, where he fostered a harmonious team dynamic, resulting in sales growth year after year. Muller strengthened partnerships within the MICE sector and successfully developed international markets in Brazil, Italy, Thailand and Mexico. Prior to joining Silversea, Muller was Director of Charter & Incentive Sales at Norwegian Cruise Line.
“Freddy’s drive for success and creativity, along with his proactive approach, make him the perfect fit for this role. I’m confident that his knowledge and expertise will ensure the continued success of this valuable segment of our company,” said Freed.
