The 22nd Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum: “Greece – Looking Ahead With Confidence” will take place on Tuesday – Wednesday, December 15th – 16th, 2020. This is an International Summit about Greece in New York organized in cooperation with the New York Stock Exchange and major global investment banks. This year, as a Virtual Forum, the event will be available to a global audience
This year, the Forum will focus on two main themes: The specific government and private sector initiatives to steer Greece through the Covid-19 economy, position it for a return to a sustainable growth economy and attract foreign investment. A blueprint of the trends, developments, business and investment opportunities in each of the main sectors of the economy.
The coronavirus crisis and the short-term market dislocation have created unique investment entry opportunities for international investors and several significant investments have already taken place or are in the pipeline. Furthermore, the Greek Economic outlook was recently upgraded by international rating agencies.
Over a two-day period and 32 sessions, the Forum will showcase to a global audience the developments and reforms in the Greek economy and the investment opportunities that lie ahead. Led by the Prime Minister, several key Greek Government Ministers will outline their specific programs and policies in the sectors of their portfolios. A top-level group of CEOs and other executives will discuss trends, developments and opportunities for each of the main areas of the economy. Finally, a group of international investors will share their insight as to why they choose Greece as a Business and Investment Destination and what lies ahead.
In parallel to the main sessions, there will also be a series of one-on-one meetings between investors, the management of the participating companies and government officials.
