The Region of Attica is once again about to welcome the international audience and tourism professionals of “ΙΤΒ Berlin 2019”, one of the greatest tourism exhibitions in the world, that will take place from 6 to 10 March 2019, at Berlin ExpoCenter City exhibition centre.
As co-exhibitor of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), in Hall 1.1 Stand 101-101a, the Region of Attica has scheduled a number of meetings with leading tourism industry professionals and influencers from all over the world, highlighting the competitive advantages of its individual destinations.
Alongside the exhibition, the executives of the Region of Attica Directorate of Tourism will meet with the heads of FVW, Germany’s leading trade magazine for tourism and business travel, regarding the organisation of FVW Workshop Athens, Attica 2019. The Region of Attica will actively participate in the significant workshop, introducing Authentic Athens and the treasures of Attica Land to major German tourism professionals.
The executives and partners of the Region of Attica Directorate of Tourism will showcase Attica’s main mature tourism products to the important tourism market of Germany, and other European target markets, aiming at highlighting the unique character of Attica as a multidimensional collection of destinations for all year round, short break holidays.
Attica is already among the top destinations of German travellers, who are mainly interested in:
- its extraordinary cultural wealth, the numerous museums and modern cultural spaces, as well as the events, fairs and festivals that offer authentic experiences in a memorable journey through Attica’s culture
