THAI Cancels Flights on Bangkok-Hong Kong Route that Affected by Typhoon Mangkhut

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) has adjusted its roundtrip flight schedule on the route Bangkok-Hong Kong, which may be affected by Typhoon Mangkhut during 15-17 September 2018.

Flight Lieutenant Pratana Patanasiri, THAI Vice President, Aviation Security and Standards, said that Typhoon Mangkhut is currently heading towards Hong Kong. For safety reason, THAI has adjusted its flight schedule and cancelled some flights on the route Bangkok-Hong Kong during 15-17 September 2018. However, THAI plans to provide larger aircraft type to accommodate stranded passengers when the situation turns back to normal.

To facilitate passengers, the change fee will be waived with conditions applied for passengers holding rouldtrip tickets between Bangkok and Hong Kong during 15-18 September 2018 who need to reschedule flights, by 18 September 2018. To reschedule, passengers may contact THAI sales offices, THAI Contact Center at Tel. 0-2356-1111 or THAI representative travel agents.
