Volotea has been the fifth most punctual low cost airline in Europe during the month of December 2017, when 3,200 flights were operated. Volotea’s on-time arrival performance rate reached 80%, according to the monthly statistics published by the leading US-based independent airline consultant agency FlightStats.
Additionally, Volotea is one of the airlines with the lowest cancellation rates in the world. The airline`s regularity rate reached 99.9% last year. Out of the 44,500 flights operated in 2017, only 49 were cancelled.
Volotea has enjoyed again a significant increase in its operations and in number of carried passengers in 2017, being again one of the fastest growing large LCC in the European Union.
Volotea is also among the ten airlines in the world which have launched more number of routes in 2017. For a second consecutive year, Volotea has reached a client recommendation rate of 90%.
