Iberia will offer daily flights between Madrid and Panama City starting in July

Nέα απεργία των πιλότων της IBERIAIberia is increasing its flight frequency between Madrid and Panama to offer a daily flight. From June onwards, it will add a weekly flight to the five it operates at present, and by July it will offer daily flights.
In this way, Iberia significantly improves its product, as it will offer a daily connection between the many destinations it serves in Europe, including France, Germany, Italy and the UK,and Panama, one of the most attractive and flourishing countries in Latin America.
According to Manuel López Colmenarejo Iberia Network Development and Alliances Senior Vicepresident,
“this increase in flights strengthens Iberia’s commitment to Panama: we began offering direct flights only four years ago, with four per week, and we are now reaching daily frequencies, which was always our aim”.
Iberia is the only airline to have flown uninterruptedly between Europe and Panama since 1971. It operates the route with the Airbus A340, which is currently being fitted with the newBusiness and Tourist cabins.
The new Business Plus cabin boasts seats that turn into completely flat beds, measuring almost 2 metres long, as well as individual 15.4-inch touch screens, 80 TV shows, more than 400 music albums and 3D games. Passengers flying in Tourist Class will enjoy the same entertainment offer on individual 9-inch screens, and larger and more comfortable seats than the current ones. All the seats include docks for the use and charge of electronic devices, and Wi-Fi will shortly be offered aboard the flights.
