US Airways Relocates Operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 At Los Angeles International Airport

US AirwaysBeginning today, Wednesday, Feb. 12, US Airways, a subsidiary of American Airlines Group, will operate out of Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX) Terminal 3. The airline will end operations at Terminal 1 tonight, Feb. 11 following late night arriving and departing flights.  The US Airways Club in Terminal 1 will also cease operations.
 
All US Airways ticketing and check-in, aircraft gates, baggage services, and customer service will begin operations in Terminal 3 with the airline’s first flights from LAX the morning of Feb. 12. The US Airways ticket counter will be located on the east end of Terminal 3 and the baggage service office will be located on the east side of the Lower/Arrivals Level. US Airways Club members may use the American Airlines Admirals Club located in Terminal 4.
 
American Airlines will continue to operate from Terminal 4 at LAX.  Customers traveling on American Airlines and US Airways should continue to check in for flights and conduct business with the airline operating their flight.
 
American Airlines and US Airways passengers can now access both the US Airways and American Airlines terminals without leaving security via new shuttle service with stops at Gate 39 in Terminal 3 and at Gate 44 in Terminal 4. LAX has also placed signage on surrounding terminals and walkways notifying passengers of US Airways’ relocation.
 
American Airlines and US Airways provide 175 daily departures to 54 destinations in seven countries/territories from their combined hub at Los Angeles International Airport. The company has nearly 5,000 employees in the Los Angeles area.
