Amphitrion Group of Companies has been awarded the organisation and hosting of the 2015 International Agrotourism Convention in Greece. This is a major success for Amphitrion and represents the culmination of many months of effort leading up to the winning presentation at the 2013 Conference in Bucharest, 17-20 October 2013.
The presentation was made by a representative of Amphitrion, aiming to promote Greece as an agro-touristic destination as well as Amphitrion’s expertise, services and special programs exemplifying and showcasing the inert Agricultural spirit and culture of modern Greece.
Τhe International Agrotourism Convention is organized by ATOI (Agricultural Tour Operators International) and it takes place every two years. During the Convention, professionals of this field are given the opportunity to discuss and exchange views and ideas on issues pertaining to the sector, which has been growing vastly in the last few years.
ATOI is a group of professional tour operators with agricultural business expertise offering agricultural tours, technical programs, and conferences with members in over 30 countries worldwide. Membership places emphasis on meeting stringent quality standards and skills. Amphitrion is the only Greek tour operator that is a member of ATOI, a membership which was awarded 4 years ago, and one that Amphitrion is hugely proud of.
This is a major success for Amphitrion but it is an even bigger success for Greece as this is a unique opportunity to promote a side of our country and way of living that is not very well-known abroad.
