NJV Athens Plaza welcomes Pastry Chef Nikos Tsolis

The NJV Athens Plaza Hotel is culinary renewing its sweets and welcomes Pastry Chef Nikos Tsolis.

“I am very happy to be at the NJV Athens Plaza hotel. I want us to create sweets that will evoke emotions and awaken sweet memories.
Together with the Executive Chef Panagiotis Anastasiou to build a team that loves to create, to play with materials and for our Guests and customers to choose us because they taste unique flavors and textures, pastry creations made with special care and with the purest and freshest ingredients.”

A few words about the Pastry Chef:
Nikos’ path in confectionery began in 2012 working at Spondi restaurant as an apprentice. It was there that the microbe of gastronomy invaded him for good. Nikos had the honor of working with several Michelin star chefs and traveled to France to see firsthand everything he admired from books and the internet.

Returning to Athens, he wasted no time and started building his own “pastry lab” in his home to be able to do all the tests and experiments he desired.
His favorite ingredients are chocolate and flour.

His professional career continued in patisseries, hotels and restaurants in Greece such as the Lycabettus restaurant in Santorini, the Grand Bretagne hotel in Syntagma and the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens in Vouliagmeni.
