Inaugural flights to Bucharest, Tel Aviv and Tirana take off with fares from 19.99 EUR*
Wizz Air UK, Europe’s fastest-growing and most environmentally sustainable airline globally, announces three new ultra-low-fare routes from Athens to Bucharest in Romania, Tel Aviv in Israel and Tirana in Albania. The inaugural flights commenced from Athens International Airport on the 2nd of December with the launch of a new route to the Romanian capital, Bucharest, which is Romania’s cultural, industrial and financial centre.
Wizz Air has continued to grow its network from Athens with the launch of two other new routes to Tel Aviv and Tirana on 12th December. Passengers can now fly to the economic and technological centre of Israel, which offers 24 – hour culture and is famous for its lively nightlife as well as known as the World’s vegan food capital, while they can also reach the Albanian capital city of Tirana, which is the country’s most important economic, financial, political and trade centre and is among the wettest and sunniest cities in Europe with Mediterranean climate.
Together with the new flights, Wizz Air now offers 12 routes in 11 countries from Athens International Airport to its passengers and is further expanding its presence in Greece where it serves customers since the year it started its operation back in 2004.
