Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks announces brand new Winter route to Athens

• Award-winning airline and tour operator demonstrates commitment by putting on winter flights and city breaks to Athens for the first time

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced the launch of winter services to Athens for the first time from two UK bases, demonstrating the companies’ continued commitment to the capital. 

The addition of Athens as a brand-new destination for Winter 22/23 comes in response to strong demand for flights and city breaks to the capital from UK holidaymakers and will see the leading leisure airline and package holiday specialist operate four weekly flights from the UK. 

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate to Athens for Winter 22/23 from Manchester and Birmingham Airports, giving UK holidaymakers access to Greece’s capital during winter for the first time. It also gives locals fantastic access to the city of Manchester and the North West of England, as well as Birmingham and the Midlands region.

Today’s announcement follows the launch of flights and city breaks to Athens for Summer 22, with inaugural flights arriving into Athens last week.

The full breakdown of the Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks’ Winter 22/23 programme to Athens is as follows: 

Birmingham 

• Up to two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) continuing from Summer 22 to 27th November and from 16th February onwards through to Summer 23.
