The EU Commission has completed its state aid investigation and given the go-ahead for the bridging loan from the German government and the state government of Hesse. This secures Condor’s flight operations even after the compulsory liquidation of the Thomas Cook Group plc through the winter season, which traditionally has weaker bookings for the whole tourism and aviation industry.
We are grateful to the EU Commission for this fast and positive decision. It is another important step towards securing Condor’s future in the long term.
Condor’s business operations continue as planned. The current booking figures exceed our expectations and the punctuality of our flights is above the average of the past six months. That is why we are confident about the summer of our tourism industry, which is traditionally strong in bookings and earnings. This is not least possible thanks to your support!
We are very thankful to you as our business partners and to all our customers for the trust, your loyalty, your flexibility and the very good cooperation in the past days and weeks.
We will continue to make every effort to offer you the quality of our product and service that you have come to expect from us for 64 years. We look forward to continuing to work with you.
