Region of Attica’s tourism promotion continues dynamically with its participation at the greatest Tourism Exhibition in Holland

Right after its exceptionally successful roadshow in Holland and Belgium, the Region of Attica addresses the Dutch tourism market once again. The new year begins with vigorous activity, since from 9 until 13 January 2019, the Region of Attica participates for the first time at the International Tourism Exhibition “Vakantiebeurs 2019”, in Utrecht, Holland, where Attica will be showcased as a year-round multidimensional group of destinations.

Capitalising on the momentum of its recent presence in Holland, the Region of Attica Directorate of Tourism will promote all major mature tourism products of Attica to the thousands of professionals and travellers, who are once again expected to visit the Vakantiebeurs Exhibition. The contacts that will be made will further reinforce the tourist flows to the whole of Attica.

As co-exhibitor of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), in Hall 7, at Stand D010 of the Jaarbeurs exhibition centre, the Region of Attica will welcome tourism professionals from all over the world, as well as travellers who seek new destinations and inspiration for their forthcoming vacation. Region of Attica’s experienced executives will showcase the unique possibilities and memorable experiences that Attica has to offer, focusing on the particular profile and preferences of the Dutch market.

In an era when tourism industry evolves continuously, travellers’ habits change year after year, and their expectations increase, the Region of Attica has one significant competitive advantage for the experienced Dutch travellers: its rich variety of outstanding tourism products, so close to urban areas, which is capable of covering the whole spectrum of their preferences, throughout the year.

Special forms of tourism, such as hiking and trekking, cycling and sailing combined with island hopping; multigenerational family vacation, and touring the mainland discovering its many surprises; the multitude of museums and monuments, the ancient and modern cultural scene; gastronomy and wine tourism; these are some of the numerous elements that make Attica an ideal short-break destination, for all ages and all interests.
