Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE 2018) Happening At KICC From 3rd – 5th October 2018
Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) 2018 began today, 3rd October 2018 at Kenyatta International Convention Centre. The CS Najib Balala officially opened the#MKTE2018 by welcoming all attendees including the various dignitaries to the 8th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony the Cs Najib Balala mentioned that #MKTE2018 aims at showcasing the products that are available in the region and By 2024 we will have a train from Mombasa to Kisumu. He was keen to mention on the developments we can look forward to in Kenya. “We are trying to open Nairobi as a destination,” he added.
Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) speaking at the #MKTE2018 opening shared his love for Kenya. “Culture is very important.” Many people don’t know about Africa’s rich cultural history and this is something we can share through tourism.
The objective of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo is to showcase the different products we can offer our visitors.
