Regus, the global workplace provider, has launched its first ever Workpods, situated airside at Gatwick Airport in the North & South Terminals.
Katerina Manou, General Manager of Regus Hellas and VP for the Balkans, at Regus, comments: “The Workpod is a private workspace, tailor-made for business, offering business travellers a quiet place to work whilst waiting for their flight. Inside the pod users have access to business class wifi, a comfortable desk and seat, power and mobile chargers, computer screen and a telephone to make calls (within the UK)”.
The Workpod is the latest development in the rollout of Regus Express, offering users flexible workspace outside of traditional Regus business centres in high traffic locations such as railway stations, airports, motorway service stations, retail outlets and hotels.
Users can book the Workpod on the spot using their credit card or online on the Regus website in advance of their travel.
The pods are situated airside, enabling business travellers to make the best use of their time while they wait for their flight and before they board.

Gatwick Airport has seen a record-breaking year with around 38 million passengers and 21 months of consecutive growth. The airport serves 46 of the top 50 European business destinations, along with a range of long-haul services to the USA and Middle East, and other new and existing routes to emerging business markets including Vietnam, Turkey, Russia and Indonesia.
