Submit now to the ”SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in Tourism” Awards
Skål International continues to strengthen its deep commitment to sustainability in tourism and to highlight best practices in tourism around the globe with the presentation of the ”SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in Tourism” Awards. These awards, which have been favourable received throughout the world, have demonstrated proven success since its launch in 2002, the Year of Ecotourism and the Mountains as per the declaration of the United Nations.
The deadline for receipt of entries in triplicate at the General Secretariat is 31 May 2012.
The ”SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in Tourism” Awards will be presented during the Opening Ceremony of the 73rd Skål World Congress to be held in Incheon (Korea), on Wednesday 3rd October 2012.
For second consecutive year, Skal main sponsor Diversey will produce the trophies and certificates handed over to the winners in each category. In addition, they will also present a Special Recognition Award to one of the entries entering the competition that meets with some criteria set up by Diversey.
