Amphitrion Group of Companies was selected, amongst five candidates, to organize the 2013 International Agri-tourism Convention in Greece, through a presentation that took place in the 2011 Conference in Stockholm, 13-16 October 2011.
The presentation was made by a representative of Amphitrion, Mrs. Karmen Cordoba, aiming to promote Greece as an agro-touristic destination as well as Amphitrion’s services and special programs created for serving this field of tourism.
All efforts made were fully supported by the Embassy of Greece in Sweden and more specifically by the Ambassador Mrs. Aliki Hadji as well as by Mr. Stavros Stavrakos – Head of Economic & Commercial Section, who gave a speech to all participants in the Conference in order to strengthen the possibilities of Greece’s election.
Every two years the International Agri-tourism Convention takes place in a European country and in a non-European country in between. During this Congress, professionals of this field are given the opportunity to discuss and exchange views and ideas in issues related to this sector of tourism, a sector that is growing vastly.
This is a major success for Amphitrion but it is an even bigger success for Greece as this is a unique opportunity to promote a side of our country which is not very well-known abroad.
