With effect as from 1st August 2011, Yann Gilbert is appointed General Manager AIR FRANCE KLM for Greece & Cyprus, based at Athens.
He is succeeding Hester Bruijninckx, who is in charge of a new position at the KLM’s headquarters in Amsterdam.
Yann Gilbert joins Air France in 1997 as financial controller of the VIP lounges in Paris.
In 2001, he joins Cameroon Airlines as Revenue Accounting Manager, and 3 years later, he takes over the position of Route Manager South Europe in 2004 at Air France’s headquarters.
In 2007 he begins his international career as Air France Commercial Director of Nigeria, and in 2008, he is appointed Air France – KLM General Manager Eastern Nigeria at Port Harcourt.
Graduated from Marne La Vallée’s of Business School, Yann Gilbert is married and father of an 8years old.
