2011 year of internal restructuring: new duties, same targets:Total customer satisfaction
Lufthansa AG for more than sixty years now is an aviation company with operations worldwide. It comprises of more than 400 subsidiaries and associated companies. The Group currently is active in five business segments: Passenger Airline Group (strategic core segment), Logistics, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), IT Services, Catering.
Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group, that is presented today, consists of five top airline companies, named Lufthansa Passenger Airlines (incl. Lufthansa Regional and Lufthansa Italia), Austrian Airlines, British Midland, Brussels Airlines and SWISS, forming a strong and qualitative network that connects Greece with 8 main hubs: Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Brussels, London Heathrow and Gevena. Altogether, Lufthansa Group serves over 274 destinations in 104 countries and 4 continents, operating 19 daily flights from Greece. In the year 2010 Lufthansa Group carried more than 90 million passengers!!
In Greece the Passenger Airline Group is represented by Lufthansa and Swiss International Airlines, while Lufthansa is the General Sales Agent for Austrian Airlines, British Midland and Brussels Airlines.
Mr Paulo Yoshikawa, Lufthansa General Manager Greece and Cyprus, speaks fondly of the company’s positive results: “Undoubtedly 2010 has been a year of challenges and crisis in a multitude of fields. Newly appointed managers in Lufthansa Athens team
Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group administrative team represents the group’s, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Midland, Brussels Airlines and SWISS, long lasting targets and goals: excellent services, reliable fleet and innovative ideas that enhance the travel experience. The expansion of Lufthansa Group is followed by internal restructuring, for the best and more effective results. Old faces, revised duties, enhanced roles. The team is stronger than ever and ready to face all new challenges.
Mr. Jimenez – Werner Marc joined in LSG, the Lufthansa business segment of catering, in Tegel airport in Berlin in1985. Currently he is appointed Lufthansa Station Manager in Greece. Together with all of staff members, which are are 22-25 years with Lufthansa, which means that there is a profound experience and knowledge existing on the station – almost 200 years of airline experience. “Besides our Business Lounge, where we introduced major product improvements in particular to food offer and quality, but also to the ambience, the task is rather maintaining the good team spirit, also with our service provider Goldair, and probably a little bit of fine tuning where requirements have changed.” as he states.
Mr Lazarides Alexandros has been at the position of Sales Manager Travel Agencies for SWISS and Lufthansa in Greece since 2002. Mr Lazarides’ main focus for the Greek market is to create, maintain and promote the best possible image for SWISS and Lufthansa Group Airlines, by offering a reliable and excellent product combining the all values for quality and hospitality. The joint sales force is responsible for all airlines of the Group, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Midland, Brussels Airlines and SWISS.
Ms Louvrou Theodora also had an early start with Lufthansa Athens, where she was employed in 1988, covering various posts throughout her long lasting experience. Since January 2010 she has been assigned the post of Service Team Manager and is responsible for Lufthansa and Bmi. “The Lufthansa Passenger Airline Group focuses on quality and customer satisfaction which can only be achieved with motivated and competent teams. My main aim is to provide best possible customer services to the Greek market in a period of changing customer demands and expectations”, explains Mrs Louvrou.
Ms Nikoli Eleni started her career in Lufthansa in 1991 as a trainee. In 2002 she became Manager Finance and Administration for Greece and Cyprus and in 2009, she was appointed legal representative of Lufthansa and Lufthansa Cargo in Greece. Since then, she holds the position of General Manager Finance and HR Greece. Her target is to become the preferred Shared Service Provider in Accounting, Human Resources and Business Services for all Lufthansa Group Companies in Greece and Cyprus (Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Midland, Brussels Airlines and SWISS). “This will be achieved if we manage not only to support our customers in a business partner and challenger role but also to generate value to their own products and services”, she declares.
Mrs Spaguru Haido is a long- lasting member of the Lufthansa team, since 1988 when she first came to Lufthansa after her thorough training. She started very early her marketing career, by being responsible for Marketing at Lufthansa Cargo and today she is the Head of the Marketing and Business Development Team of Lufthansa in Greece. In her statement she underlines: “Though customer focus we actively push for an efficient and strong market position of Lufthansa Group or Airlines. We ensure quality along the value chain with focus on innovation – especially in e-fly services- , product development as well as service excellence to all customer touch points “. Her daily care focuses on Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Midland and Brussels Airlines.
Mr. Tzevelekos Konstantinos started his training in Lufthansa in 1992. His first position in the company was in ticket counter. Today, as the Sales Manager of Lufthansa in Greece, together with experienced team in Greece aim to keep the whole Group in its leading place in the Greek market , despite the financial crisis Greece is facing.
