Cleared for career takeoff: SWISS offers insights into its working world

SWISS will be offering insights into the various professions within an airline from 5 to 8 November as part of this year’s Zurich Airport Career Days, a week-long event at which interested individuals can learn about the many training and career opportunities in the airport and aviation sector. From the cockpit and the cabin to tech ops and administration, SWISS will be spotlighting the vast range of its working world and its attractive development prospects and perspectives.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) recruits hundreds of new employees every year, giving a wide range of job and career opportunities to the individuals concerned. At next month’s Career Days, a week-long event organized by Zurich Airport Ltd., SWISS will be providing especially valuable insights into its working world. Whether it’s in the cockpit or the cabin, in its tech ops or in its offices, an airline offers a vast range of work areas and activities along with attractive prospects and perspectives for both experienced professionals and those newly embarking on their working career.

The SWISS program at this year’s Zurich Airport Career Days will feature tours and information sessions which give participants the chance to meet employees from various parts of the company, ask them questions and experience their daily working world ‘up close and personal’. The series of events will offer a varied program highlighting the many training and career options and opportunities within the aviation sector.

SWISS regularly holds information events on the pilot’s profession and on the training involved in becoming a cabin crew member. These will be supplemented in this year’s Zurich Airport Career Days program by special events such as the SWISS Female Pilots Day and the SWISS Experience Day.
