A course through eastern Paris
As in 2023, this year’s course will wind through the best-loved districts of eastern Paris, between the city and nature. The race will start on the Pont de Sully (Île Saint-Louis), then run along the banks of the Seine past the Jardin des Plantes and the François-Mitterrand Library towards the Bois de
Vincennes: on the programme is a loop of almost 10 km, passing in front of the famous Château de Vincennes. Back in the capital, the runners will cross the Daumesnil neighbourhood and then return to the banks of the Seine before turning off onto rue de Rivoli towards the majestic Place de la Bastille, where they will make their last effort before crossing the finish line.
An accessible distance and support for all
The half-marathon, a perfect distance for starting out or setting a new record, is the ideal challenge that is attracting more and more runners. In fact, over 44% of them will be running a half marathon for the first time this year. But as running 21.1 km is not something you can improvise, and to be ready on the big day, the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris offers support for all runners. The race offers several
programmes and training guides to help everyone reach their goal.
The official application lets you track all your training sessions in detail and offers exclusive gifts to motivate you. To personalise your preparation, Garmin Coach offers a tailor-made training programme service. Nutritional advice is also available to all participants. Lastly, for those who like podcasts,
“Objectif Semi” provides all the tips you need to make the most of your preparation through discussions with experts and running enthusiasts
On 3 March, at the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris, women will make up almost 42% of the field, a number that has been rising steadily for several years (37% in 2023 and 35% in 2022):
that’s almost 20,000 women taking part in this year’s event.
