– Major collaboration with AEGEAN Airlines

-The Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection set to open in April 2020

Accor, a global leader in the augmented hospitality sector, which already has a presence in Greece with three of its top brands, is widening its

interest in the country even further. The Group has recently announced an exciting new partnership with AEGEAN Airlines, creating closer ties with the Greek market and strengthening its members’ experience.

With more than 5.000 hotels in 110 countries and 39 leading brands ranging from luxury to economy, the French hotel group has already established a presence in Greece. The luxury Sofitel Athens Airport, the 4* Novotel Athenes Hotel, the newly built design-economy ibis Styles Athens Routes Hotel and the ibis Styles Heraklion Central Hotel in Crete all come under the Accor umbrella.

The Group’s desire to strengthen its ties with Greece even further is already apparent with the oncoming arrival of Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery Collection, due to open its doors in April 2020. The 158-room and 19-suite hotel will offer luxury boutique services in a fully restored and renovated historic building in Syntagma Square.

Accor and AEGEAN Airlines unveil their partnership

Accor adheres to a holistic ecosystem of hospitality services and authentic experiences in select destinations and its new collaboration with AEGEAN Airlines is an example of this strategy. The loyalty programs’ partnership between Le Club AccorHotels and Miles+Bonus gives members the opportunity to enjoy a range of benefits to make their travel experiences richer and more rewarding.

  • The new partnership enables Le Club AccorHotels (LCAH) members to earn rewards points when flying with AEGEAN Airlines or its subsidiary Olympic Air by converting 2,000 Miles+Bonus miles into 500 LCAH rewards points.

  • At the same time, it will enhance the experience of Le Club AccorHotels members as they will have the opportunity to redeem their rewards points into Miles+Bonus miles to benefit from awards tickets and upgrades with AEGEAN Airlines and Olympic Air.

  • Every 2,000 LCAH points equals 1,000 Miles+Bonus miles. Conversions are easy and fully digital with an efficient points management system.

Enriched travel experiences

This is an exciting partnership for frequent travellers who are members of both programs, because it allows them to purchase stays and discounts for their next trip at more than 3,500 hotels ranging from luxury to economy in joint destinations. They can also benefit from premium experiences and exclusive themed packages curated by Accor, which include access to live music concerts, food festivals and sporting venues such as Paris Saint-Germain VIP box and tickets. These assets will be available through the new Accor rebranded loyalty program ALL – Accor Live Limitless, launched at the end of 2019. The partnership allows elevated reward value for Accor’s loyalty customers throughout a network of 151 destinations, 31 domestic and 120 international, in 44 countries serviced by AEGEAN Airlines and Olympic Air.

Mehdi Hemici, Senior Vice President Business Development and Partnerships at Accor, commented: “The radical transformation of Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program, embodied by the future brand ALL – Accor Live Limitless, will bring to life our Augmented

Hospitality strategy by providing a range of benefits and rewards to enhance the way our members work, live and play. ALL demonstrates our number one priority to reward the loyalty of our members with the very best partners to make their lives richer and more rewarding. This commitment to excellence is reflected in the continuously upgraded offers that enable more than 57 million loyal members to use their points for more than just hotel stays and enjoy more unique and rewarding experiences.”
