About Your Job:
The E-Commerce Officer is responsible for the development, management and marketing of qatarairways.com in Greece and Cyprus to maintain its position as a key direct sales channel for the airline. You will drive qualified traffic to the website in order to increase conversion rate and achieve targets for revenue and online penetration for Qatar Airways in Greece and Cyprus.
Your key responsibilities will include the planning and implementing of a program of promotional offer, value adds and ancillary product propositions to achieve revenue and yield improvement. You will design and manage the online marketing activity using PPC, SEO, viral, display, email marketing and affiliate campaigns whilst ensuring the delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and the highest standard.
Working with partner sites to maximise online referrals within the business will be essential as will managing and modifying the qr.com pages to ensure information is kept up to date whilst meeting Greece and Cyprus legal requirements. You will analyse web traffic and compile related reports and actively promote the use of emerging technologies.
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or E-commerce, with a minimum of A-level standard education or equivalent. You must have B2C marketing experience with online travel retail experience. Work experience in an online marketing agency or e-commerce/digital marketing department of a B2C retailer is essential (travel agency preferred). Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience required. Fluent communications skills in Greek (native speaker) and English languages.
You will have experience in managing at least two of the following areas: Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Affiliate Programs, Account Management of online marketing partnerships or Display advertising. Further to this you are able to take direction from global offices as well as head office to reach a common goal.
