CITYJET CEO ELECTED TO ERA BOARD

Christine Ourmières elected to ERA BoardChristine Ourmières, CEO of Irish carrier CityJet, has been elected by members onto the Board of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA).

Christine is only the second female Airline President to be elected to the ERA Board in the Association’s 32-year history. Election results were announced at the Annual General Meeting which took place today in Dublin, as part of the annual 3-day ERA General Assembly event.

Joining Christine in the Airline (Regular Member) category, were Boet Kreiken, Managing Director, KLM Cityhopper and Nicolae Petrov, President & CEO, Carpatair who were both re-elected for a further 3-year term. Bryan Huxford, Chairman of UK carrier Eastern Airways was also elected.

In the Associate1 Category (Aircraft & Engine Manufacturers), Ricardo Lugris, Senior Sales Director, Embraer was elected for the first time while Clemente Affinito, Vice President Sales – Europe, ATR was re-elected for another term.

Jan Palmér who is a Board Member of Swedish cargo carrier Amapola Flyg, was elected in the Affiliate 1 Airline Category.
