Athens-Marseille, Air France’s new direct destination

the Air France A380Starting on 2 October 2011, Air France will fly non-stop four times a week between Athens and Marseille. One way fares will start at 80€ all-in and will be combinable with our other fares through Paris and Amsterdam.

The flight will be operated either by an Airbus A319 or A320 aircraft, and it will have only one class of service: Voyageur (Economy). As on all  the Air France’s other flights, we will offer the free services, such as free baggage allowance, a choice of daily newspapers at boarding, a snack, seat choice, and more.

Flight schedule:

• Flight AF 4300 Marseille – Athens:
-On Tuesdays & Fridays, departing from Marseille at 09.50;
Arriving at Athens at 13.25, local time.
-On Saturdays, departing from Marseille at 06.50;
Arriving at Athens at 10.25, local time.
– On Sundays, departing from Marseille at 06.05;
Arriving at Athens at 09.40 local time.

• Flight AF  4301 Athens-Marseille:
-On Tuesdays & Fridays, departing from Athens at 14.00;
Arriving at Marseille at 15.55 local time.
-On Saturdays, departing from Athens at 11.00;
Arriving at Marseille at 12.55 local time.
– On Sundays, departing from Athens at 10.15;
Arriving at Marseille at 12.10 local time.

This new destination is part of the long-term strategy of Air France which intends to increase seat capacity by over 30% by launching 54 new non-stop routes on departure from Marseille, Toulouse, Nice and Bordeaux to major cities in Europe and the Mediterranean as well as by increasing capacity on domestic routes.
