Air France to fly non stop to Cape Town

Air FranceStarting on 3 November 2011, Air France will fly to Cape Town in South Africa from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, with 3 weekly frequencies.

A city in the south-western corner of South Africa, located on the Atlantic coast, Cape Town is the second largest port, the country’s legislative capital, seat of the South African Parliament and one of the top tourist destinations in South Africa.

Flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-200 with a total capacity of 309 seats, equipped with 35 seats in the Business cabin, 24 seats in the Premium Voyageur cabin and 250 seats in the Voyageur cabin. On board, passengers will be able to discover Air France’s new Business Class seat launched last December.

This new route launch is part of Air France and KLM’s expansion policy on the African continent, with 4 new destinations in 2011: Freetown (Sierra Leone), Monrovia (Liberia), Bata (Equatorial Guinea) and Cape Town.
On their entire networks, Air France and KLM are offering 12 new destinations in 2011.

Flight schedules:

Paris-CDG – Cape Town: AF 934 – Departure at 10:40am – Arrival in Cape Town at 10:50pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Cape Town – Paris-CDG: AF 935 – Departure at 1:15am – Arrival in Cape Town at 11:35am on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
