Kαταλυτική στην προώθηση του ελληνικού τουριστικού προϊόντος, η παρουσία των Ελλήνων συνεκθετών, στην ΙΤΒ 2012
Με αύξηση του αριθμού των επαγγελματιών του τουριστικού κλάδου καθώς και με ένα συνολικό τζίρο εργασιών, ύψους άνω των 6 δισεκατομμυρίων Ευρώ, έκλεισε πανηγυρικά τις πόρτες της η 46η Διεθνής Έκθεση ΙΤΒ 2012. Βάσει στοιχείων η Έκθεση κατά τη διάρκεια των πέντε ημερών, συγκέντρωσε 113.006 επαγγελματίες επισκέπτες (2.200 περίπου περισσότεροι από την προηγούμενη χρονιά), οι οποίοι πληροφορήθηκαν για όλα τα θέματα της διεθνούς τουριστικής βιομηχανίας από 10.644 εκθέτες από 187 χώρες (τιμώμενη χώρα η Αίγυπτος), ενώ το Σαββατοκύριακο 59.126 επισκέπτες – κοινό είχαν τη δυνατότητα να ενημερωθούν για τους τουριστικούς προορισμούς και τα πακέτα προσφορών.
