Η απονομή πραγματοποιήθηκε σε μια λαμπερή εκδήλωση - γιορτή για τον ελληνικό τουρισμό, που οργάνωσαν οι Εκδόσεις Λυμπέρη στο Westin Athens Astir Palace. Την απονομή ακολούθησε πάρτι με λαμπερές παρουσίες από το χώρο του τουρισμού, της πολιτικής και της showbiz.

Norwegian Epic sea trials a triumphant success

NCL’s largest and most innovative ship to date,
returned from her first successful sea trials on Sunday, February 14, 2010,
after four days of sailing the Atlantic Ocean for the first time. During the
sea trials, 300 technicians and engineers from STX France SA, along with 30 NCL
representatives, checked more than 60 different aspects of the ship’s
performance by running trials of the vessel’s speed, manoeuvrability,
hydrodynamics and propulsion, amongst others.

Norwegian Epic to set sail in Europe in 2011

ship to date will summer in the Mediterranean
NCL
announced today that its largest and most innovative Freestyle Cruising ship to
date, Norwegian Epic, debuting this July, will summer in the Mediterranean
as part of her 2011/2012 deployment. The ship will sail a seven-night Western
Mediterranean itinerary from Barcelona,
Spain from May
through October 2011. Ports of call include: Florence/Pisa (Livorno); Rome (Civitavecchia); Naples, Italy;
and Palma, Majorca,
Spain, along
with two full days at sea. These cruises go on
sale on Monday, March 8, 2010.

“Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A.” which is the
parent company of the Group, reached a turnover of 5,879,549 euro,
which exclusively came from chartering its own yachts, posting a
19,3% decrease compared to the 2008 nine-month period. As far as the
Group is concerned, the turnover of the 2009 nine-month period is
equal to the amount of 20,696,004 euro, decreased by 21,6% in
relation with that of the 2008 nine-month period.

MV LOUIS MAJESTY SAILS FOR LOUIS CRUISES ON DECEMBER 4TH 2009

re-delivered to Louis Cruises at the end of her charter to Norwegian
Cruise Lines. The cruise ship was chartered to NCL and, as Norwegian
Majesty, was operating cruises from the USA until the end of October.
MV Louis Majesty is on her way to Europe and will undergo routine
maintenance and refurbishments where she shall be fitted with the
Louis colours. All the attractive features which made M/V Louis
Majesty a favourite of discerning passengers cruising with her in the
Caribbean and Bermuda will not only be retained but will be further
enhanced.

Norwegian Epic cruises closer to completion

In the early morning hours of Saturday, July 11, Norwegian Epic made her first journey on water, cruising out of her construction quay at STX Europe in Saint-Nazaire, France where the 153.000-ton ship has been under construction since October 2007. Beginning at approximately 7 o’clock, the massive 4.200 passenger ship was accompanied by a fleet of six tugboats and taken a short distance down the Loire Estuary. Within about one and a half hours, the ship was moored at the outfitting dock. Norwegian Epic’s float out represented a major milestone in the vessel’s construction as it indicates that the ship has now moved into the final phase of construction and work will begin immediately on the vessel’s interiors.

Ο υπουργός στην ομιλία του τόνισε ότι «οι επιπόλαιες φήμες περί επιβολής τεκμηρίου διαψεύδονται κατηγορηματικά από το υπουργείο Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών και η υπηρεσιακή ενημέρωση που έχω διαβεβαιώνει μόνο για τη σχεδιαζόμενη επιβολή του ελάχιστου ετήσιου κόστους χρήσης». Ο υπουργός σχολίασε ότι αυτή η εξέλιξη θα βοηθήσει στην αναπτυξιακή πορεία του κλάδου ο οποίος συγκαταλέγεται στους κορυφαίους της ελληνικής παραγωγής και καταδεικνύει την πρόθεση της κυβέρνησης να τον ενισχύσει στην πορεία περαιτέρω ανάπτυξης του.
