The Hollywood actor Johnny Depp purchased the uninhabited Greek Island Strongyli.
Strongyli is a Greek island which lies in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, about five nautical miles south-east of the island of Kastellorizo. Strongyli island is about 1.5 kilometres long, and 700 metres wide. It covers an area of about 0.9 square kilometres .
The purchase was made and announced by the London-based real estate company Proto Organization, which also represents Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Johnny Depp will visit his new purchased private Greek island by the end of July.
