«That’s Greece vs That’s Not Greece» είναι ο τίτλος του βίντεο που παρουσιάζει την πραγματική εικόνα της Ελλάδας σήμερα, σε σχέση με αυτήν που κάποιοι θέλουν σκόπιμα να «σερβίρουν» στα διεθνή ΜΜΕ.
Προβλήθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια του 9ου Ετήσιου Συνεδρίου του Ελληνοβρετανικού Εμπορικού Επιμελητηρίου (BHCC) »REFORMINGHELLASACHALLENGE» στο Λονδίνο στις 28 Ιουνίου 2011
The modern infrastructure of Greece shown in the video has all been provided by foreign companies; we borrowed the money to pay for these and we still pay high annual maintenance fees…now we cannot meet our debt payments. There are just a few Greek companies that manufacture or license value added products-services for export. With high labour costs and operating in markets with subsidies, even the agricalture and tourism products shown in the video, are not competitive or can flourish in efficient markets. Greece needs fundamental re-structuring of its educational (universities need to become the nucleus of innovation for SE Europe) and business environment (deregulation, cut red tape, tax incentives etc) to attract domestic and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that will raise the bar in the quality of products and services conceived, licensed and marketed worldwide.
