New four times weekly flights to Los Angeles will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and set to begin on 3rd March 2011, also the flights to Washington will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays as five times per week starting much more soon, on 7th November 2010.
The flight schedules were developed to provide Turkish Airlines passengers with convenient connections between Istanbul and major Turkish and Eurasian cities, as well as between LAX and important cities in the Middle East.
Los Angeles will be Turkish Airlines’ fifth North American gateway, adding to New York, Chicago, Washington, and Toronto. Turkish Airlines is a Star Alliance network member that overall offers 19,700 daily flights to 1,077 destinations in 175 countries.
